Take Out Anyone????

I'm going to a Christmas party today and we are having an ornament exchange. Of course, I couldn't just put it in a plain box and wrap it! No....that'd be too simple. I'm not entirely thrilled with my final project but it'll do. Some days I just can't craft to save my life. I tried making some cards yesterday too and ended up giving up. Didn't like anything I came up with. Please, some of you other crafters...tell me you have those days as well! Anyways, this is what I came up with:

Don't laugh when you see the next picture. Remember that I am ribbon challenged...so I'm taking great pride in the fact that my ribbons are all facing the right way and behaving themselves!

Don't forget, today is the last day to enter a recipe for my BLOG CANDY (see post below). I've gotten a few yummy sounding recipes so far...but who will be the winner??? Maybe YOU if you go enter!

This is sooo pretty! I'd love to get that box even without an ornament in it! :)

Oh, Jane! This is so cute! I just love snowmen, and I am sure it will be a big hit with your ornament exchange. We have a white elephant exchange next week at our church, and I think I will make some handmade cards and things to take along. Yes, I do have days like that as well. Then I go on SCS and start looking through the gallery and lots of ideas come too me, sometimes too many and I can't decide which one to do first, but if you are having trouble the best step is going to the card sketch challenges (or at least that works well for me and gets my creative juices going). :) Kelly

I totally know what you mean -- ribbon can be very bad!! But your knots look awesome!! Nice work. I really like these chinese take out boxes!! I bought a bunch of kraft ones from Michaels a while ago and I just can't figure out what to do with them. They are small and would be hard to stamp on, difficult to cut patterned paper to fit because of all the angles.... your ideas have inspired me :-)

TFS sister!

Your work is such a fantastic one. I wanna wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, your Sister Heike will spend some time with the family, so don´t worry, if I´m going to say "hello" not until in 2008.... ;o) Yours, Heike xox
