A New Card Fold

I saw this card recently on SplitcoastStampers. So I decided it was time to try my hand at it. I love how it turned out. However, I think in the future I would modify the size a bit. This turns out a little small for my liking and doesn't fit in a standard size envelope. You could make it 4 1/4 square pretty easily and then you could use a regular card envelope.

Anyways, without further ado...here's my card...

Here it is closed:

Here is what it looks like opened:

The tutorial calls for using magnets for closure...but I didn't have any. So, instead I used a 1/4 of a round tab of self adhesive velcro. It works well enough.

Well, I hope you LOVE this card...'cause it's about all I got accomplished this weekend! :-)

Oh my goodness, this is adorable, Jane! I just love this House Mouse, and I think velcro would work just as nice, too. I think I have some old calendar magnets around here (the business card type). I will have to see if I can punch them out. I really want to give these a go, too! Great idea! :)

At first I thought it was a memo pad, I guess someone could convert it if they wanted to. I totally love it! Great job!

Nice job Jane, love the colours you have chosen in this. I'm with you on the dimensions, a bit more playing and I might be happy with it too!
